1. What We Collect

When you use CalledIt, we collect the following information:

  • Email address — used for sign-in (one-time password authentication) and account identification.
  • Display name and favorite team — optional profile information you choose to provide.
  • Predictions and scores — the match predictions, tournament picks, and calculated scores you generate within the app.
  • Push notification token — if you opt in, we store your Expo push token to send match reminders and score updates.
  • Language preference — your selected display language.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
  • Display leaderboards, activity feeds, and group standings to other members of your groups.
  • Send push notifications you have opted into (match reminders, score updates, daily recaps).
  • Generate share card images containing your predictions and scores.

3. No Real Money

CalledIt is a free prediction game. While groups may display a “buy-in” amount for fun, CalledIt does not process, hold, or facilitate any real money transactions. Any buy-in arrangements are solely between group members outside the app.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Row-level security policies ensure you can only access data you are authorized to see. Predictions are hidden from other group members until match kickoff.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and real-time features.
  • API-Football — live match scores and fixture data. No personal data is shared with this service.
  • Expo Push Notifications — delivers push notifications to your device. Your push token is shared with Expo's notification service.
  • Vercel — hosts the web application.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your predictions and scores are visible to other members of groups you join (after match kickoff). We do not share your email address with other users or third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

8. Children's Privacy

CalledIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
